Police and a distraught family need help finding a missing teenager.Joniah Walker, 15, disappeared on June 23 when her mother says she left home and never returned. Surveillance footage from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) shows the teen walking away from home that day near East Reservoir Avenue and North Hubbard Street carrying a large backpack. In the video, she is wearing a green Adidas T-shirt and carrying a large green hiking backpack.Walker’s mother, Tanesha Howard, tells WISN 12 News that she went door to door searching for any surveillance footage that may clue her in on why her daughter left home.
