Senator Elizabeth Warren sometimes gets excited. And one of the things she gets most excited about is raising taxes. Especially when she pretends taxes will fall on “the rich.”
And never mind that some reports estimate her net worth to be upwards of $67 million.
Rich people are evil. And we need to get their money. (Not hers, though.)
Every now and again when she gets excited, you’ll hear her screeching like a banshee. But sometimes, she likes to play to the younger crowd. Then other times she tries too hard to play to that crowd, as evidenced by the following ‘How do you do, fellow kids’ moment.
Warren shared an Associated Press article discussing a renewed push by liberals to implement state wealth taxes “similar to one promoted for years” by the Massachusetts senator.
She captioned it simply, “LFG,” an abbreviation for “Let’s f***ing go.” So very, very hip.

On the one hand, you have to admire Senator Karen’s passion for stealing people’s hard-earned money. Taxation, after all, is theft.
She is most dedicated to the cause. Some might say Warren is a one-trick horse-faced dog-lying pony soldier, or whatever the hell Biden says these days.
On the other hand, Elizabeth Warren’s ‘LFG’ tweet is likely from an intern running her social media feed, trying desperately to be edgy.

Of course, this isn’t the first time she’s used the phrase.
In November of 2020, she urged her followers to strap on their moccasins and get out there to vote for Warren Democrats.

Prior to that, soccer super-wokester Megan Rapinoe endorsed Warren for President and introduced the Democrat to the phrase.
“Well, we have a little saying on the national team that we like to say,” Rapinoe said. “I don’t know if you can cuss on here, but it’s ‘LFG’, so let’s do this.”
“Let’s do this,” Warren cackled. “All right Megan, you and me, LFG.”
I truly believe the best things in life are a result of being bold and being real. I’m proud to endorse Elizabeth Warren today, for being bold, for being real, for listening to ALL of us, and for being prepared to navigate the unique challenges we face today as a country @ewarren pic.twitter.com/9hX3gQYjvo

Pushback to ‘Tax the Rich’
Not everyone is down with the ‘tax the rich’ talking point.
The AP article Warren is referencing reports the Tax Foundation describing wealth taxes as “economically destructive” and ultimately ineffective because individuals or companies would simply migrate to states with a lower tax burden.
Or, alternatively, they raise the prices of products and/or trim their workforce.
Warren has blasted rich individuals in the past, famously calling Tesla CEO and Twitter chief Elon Musk a “freeloader.”
Musk fired back by saying Warren was “projecting,” pointed out that he had to pay a hefty sum in taxes that year, and called her “Senator Karen.”
Please don’t call the manager on me, Senator Karen 🙏

Musk later accused Democrats like Warren and Senator Bernie Sanders of a coordinated attack in which they demanded “the extremely wealthy pay their fair share.”
I keep forgetting that you’re still alive

Billionaire Mark Cuban also slammed progressive politicians who run on a ‘tax the rich’ platform, particularly singling out the Senate’s resident Karen saying, “Screw you, Elizabeth Warren.”
Cuban, the owner of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks and star of the hit show “Shark Tank,” claimed he doesn’t mind paying taxes at a higher rate “because that’s what allows everybody to live and to prosper.”
“But, yeah, the idea of just ‘soak the rich, billionaire tears that fill that cup’ — screw you, Elizabeth Warren, you’re everything wrong with politics.”

Warren insisted that her presidential campaign in 2020, despite the ‘LFG’ declaration and Rapinoe endorsement, was ultimately unsuccessful because she doesn’t have a penis.
“Everyone comes up to me and says, ‘I would vote for you, if you had a penis,’” Warren said according to a recently published book.
The comment prompted Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) to respond, “In today’s Democrat Party, how do we know she doesn’t?”
LNFGT, Ted. Let’s not go there.
